I understand how sports governing bodies operate and the importance of working with all the stakeholders in sport, from associated bodies to the extensive volunteer networks. Having a clear message and being able to see it through is essential, but being able to get buy in is imperative.
- help sports governing bodies and associations to understand their audience and define a clear marketing strategy
- work with in house teams to develop targeted new programmes, products and brand identity
- facilitate promotion of the sport through partner marketing activities, e.g. new media opportunities, consumer promotions
- recommend partners and sponsors and project manage activity
